In Japanese culture, pickling food, or "tsukemono", holds significant cultural and culinary importance, stemming from its historical role in preserving food before refrigeration and evolving into a staple side dish and palate cleanser, often served with every meal. Tsukemono making is often a family tradition, with recipes passed down through generations. Join us to start your own family traditions led by your kiddo while we explore the art of pickling and the concept of bento boxes.
*Designed for kids ages 3 yrs old - 12 yrs old
*Caregiver of preschool age kids should plan to stay and participate, or relax in our lounge. *Caregivers of school age kids are welcome to drop off, stay and participate, or stay and relax.
